As of recently being the proud of owner of a Domo-kun, it is only fair to say how cool it is to actually have a Domo-kun into my hands. An authentic Japan-imported Domo-kun. It’s awesome!

Now for those of you who don’t know what a Domo-kun is:

Domo-kun (どーもくん, Dōmo-kun?) is the mascot of Japan’s NHK television station, appearing in several 30 second stop-motion sketches shown as station identification during shows. Domo-kun, a strange monster-like creature born from an egg, is short, fuzzy and brown with beady black eyes and an open mouth revealing pointy teeth.

While searching for the “Lost” computer beeps I found this widget for Yahoo! Widget Engine. It is soo cool. lol. Saves me having to play the audio clip from the episode where the Irish bloke has to tell Lock to enter the numbers in the computer.

You have to enter in the window the Lost numbers every 108 minutes and press the Execute or Enter buton. Otherwise…

Flood Maps allows you to see how the continents will look like when the sea level will rise. Very interesting and scary too. See for yourself! Imagine how many towns, islands, etc. will be underwater when the sea level will reach 14m. If it will reach that high in the first place!

The thing is that everyone blames it on the pollution and gasses, carbon dioxide, etc. But the way I see it is that Earth is nearing another ice age. There was one before and another is going to happen and it is going to be inevitable. The only thing with the pollution is that it accelerates it, but other than that in my opinion I don’t think that it can be stopped.

Anyway, I am not exactly in the mood to begin writing a lot about the environment, climate changes and the rest because frankly the majority of people who read my bitching don’t give two shits to what’s happeningto Billy down the road, so why should they care if the whole human race is at risk?

ABC has launched their free online service which allows viewers from USA to stream the latest episodes that have been broadcasted on TV. Episodes such as Lost, Desperate Housewives, Alias etc. are all available to stream for free from the ABC website. It is worth to mention that this is a two month trial from ABC, so who knows what is going to happen after two months.

Though the quality of the content is no HDTV, it is still watchable, free and most importantly LEGAL! So if you want to view the latest shows without worrying about getting caught, then this is a good way of viewing the shows.

If you don’t live in USA then your shit out of luck. You can get around this by using a proxy from USA obviously. ProxyChecker might make life easier for you in finding that proxy you need. Just play around with it and figure it out for yourself! Good luck!
