According to a British daily newspaper the Daily Mail  is saying that police officers are having difficulties in fighting crime… Well fuck me, I think it is time to call on Capitan Obvious here. Let’s look at the problem a little closer shall we?

  • Police raid house of a 12 year old kid and arrest him because he was in a scuffle at school.
  • Police arrest innocent people who defend their own home when fuckwit burglars strike because the burglar COMPLAINED that he/she was injured!
  • Police officers spend too much doing shitty not-so-important paper work that keeps them inside rather than outside. GET THE FUCK OUTSIDE and gain trust from the public!
  • Police officers’ son throws football into neighbours garden for the gazillionth time. Neighbour keeps football until kid apologizes. Officer dad calls officer friends to go around neighbours house and arrest him for theft. Nice one going there officer SHITFACE
  • TWO police vans and another car (in total 6 officers) are required for a fight in a nightclub between two faggots. Shit, 6 police officers WTF is this a shootout? Machetes were pulled out? People became butchers or something? WAY OTT!

So yeh

Is been nice weather today. And why not splash out some cash (£12.99) on a pair of sun glasses. To be honest, about an hour later after I bought them I just realised… They aren’t actually sung glasses as sun can get through them and I still have to squint when the sun shines into my eyes. So in actual fact I bought the glasses of cosmetically purposes only. And because I took advice from a trusty friend. (You know who you are :P )

Pretty much a waste of time. The whole point of having sun glasses is to block out the sun, but these aren’t going to do that. More of a cosmetical thing really than actually being of any use. :D But hey, who cares? But nevertheless, my new digital camera works fine.

I had to send the Nokia 6230i back because I wasn’t impressed with it. Pretty shit actually. The reasons, and yes you noticed the bold “s”, that is because there are a few reasons why the Nokia 6230i is crap. First of all the first impression was, “3D icons look shit, looks tacky”. Nice cover on the outside, but it doesn’t matter what is on the outside, it matter what is on the inside. And it had a nice flashy cover but on the inside it was rubbish. It took some time to load between menus. I read on a forum because the Nokia 6230i uses the same processor as the 6230, and the reason it might be slow is because is trying to power a bigger screen (the screen size of the 6230i is bigger than the 6230) and all of the new features and 3D icons. As a website stated, the Nokia 6230i’s features should of been included in the original Nokia 6230 from the beginning. And to be honest I am glad they haven’t. So yes, a 1.3 mega pixels camera would of been nice, but I’d rather stick with a VGA and to know that my phone is running properly and doesn’t have problems or features that I don’t like.

I’ve looked at other phones too, Samsong, Simens, Motorola, etc. and I don’t like either of them. They are either too big (bigger than the 6230) or have crap features/menus that kind of thing. I am very picky with phones, and now that I have an up to date one it has set new standards. I had a Motorola V66i for 2 years. The simple reason why I had that phone for so long was because it was small, slim and simple to use. It wouldn’t make a big bulge in my pocket and it was easy to text, make phone calls. The texting was slow but I didn’t really mind. Having spent £140 for a phone which lasted me 2 years I think is pretty good. I like to make investments in something that I like and that will last long. I couldn’t believe that I bought a 6230 two months ago for £190, only to buy an updated version for £220. And the camera on 6230i is literally the same as the one on the VGA just it has a higher resolution. I didn’t get a chance to put the pictures on the computer to compare them properly, but they looked fairly similar on the phone.

Anyway, that’s that for the phone. It was sent back and a refund is on its way. The service from were I bought the phone was excellent. That’s the cheapest place I have seen on the net. I did a lot of searching. At the time of writing this, the price for a Nokia 6230i is £209.95 including VAT. And in my local shop is going for £289 and on some websites around £10 cheaper. So it was a good deal, but just the features of the phone didn’t stick in. As I said the Nokia 6230 set the standards.

As for the camera, my Konica Minolta Dimage X50, which has 5.0 mega pixels and 12X zoom (2.8 optical and 4.3 digital) is excellent. I have been very pleased. You can take pictures at a high resolution, I forgot exactly but is something like 2600x something. Very high. You can record movies for as long as you want at different fps. You can also set the image quality (Economic, Standard, and Fine). So really good there too. And you can even record video in black and white. Which is very cool! lol :D As you can see I am easily pleased with the new gadget. But as I like to take snaps and quick photos, nothing professional, this is great. It also has a 0.5 seconds start time. So in 0.5 seconds you can take a picture. Now you can’t miss that important moment! I just haven’t been able to get it working as a webcam. Apparently you can but my MSN Messenger 7 says that the device is being used by the computer, and even in Fireworks MX it doesn’t detect anything. Is connected and everything. Maybe because the computer detects the camera as a external storage source it rules out the webcam feature…. Who knows, I am going to see if it works on the second computer.

That’s it, enough for tonight. I think I sold a few digital cameras and put a few people off buying the Nokia 6230i. lol :D ;)

How interesting

How interesting. Today went to college only to find in the afternoon that some girl in my class reads my posts on here. Im sure she is enjoying it as much as I do, posting it! :P The dirty whore. Then to my surprise she started reading it out loud to the rest of the class! Since when are rants meant to be funny? 8O

Then just 10 minutes ago I’ve got another guy on MSN telling me how funny another one of my rants was. What the fuck is wrong with people these days? Have they lost their sense of humour that they find someone ranting about something funny?! I’m confused… :?:

Anyway, enough about that. I am hopefully going to receive my Nokia 6230i tomorrow. I have purchased it over the weekend, like most things I purchase over the internet. I have noticed that whenever I want to purchase something from the internet it is always at the beginning of the weekend or in the weekend itself. For example I purchased my digital camera which is a Konica Minolta Dimage X50 if you haven’t clicked the link. I am looking forward to its arriving. I could not believe it, I ordered the camera and everything, you know, the boring process having to put your address in and all of the other details. Only to find out that the digital camera wont be dispatched until 3 weeks later. :o After 30 minutes of cursing I was OK. I should of paid more attention to the writing under the price. :P

Images taken from infoSync World. Hope they don’t mind.

Maybe I will write a quick review of the Nokia 6230i, but as it is an updated version of the 6230, which I have it too, and this is going to start another rant up in a minute. I only had the Nokia 6230 for not even two months only to find out 2 weeks ago that a new version of it, the Nokia 6230i is going to be released soon, I think it was already released anyway. I was so fucking pissed off, nearly cried!:!: :x I just literally purchased a brand new Nokia 6230 and just started getting used to it with all of its features, radio, MP3 player, camera, and all of that, only to find out that a new version is out with a larger screen, better camera, a 1.3 Mega pixel upgrade from the not-so-good VGA one which added like 50% noise to all of the pictures it took. But you can’t really complain as it is a phone that has a MP3 player, camera which can record videos and take pictures, has all of the personal organiser features you need to keep track of your hectic life, and decent games. Oh and did I forgot to mention that is a mobile phone too? What I find amusing is people starting to compare the Nokia 6230 with gadgets such as the Ipod, or PDAs or whatever else, when in actual fact is a mobile that is trying to implement all of those features in one gadget.

So that’s it. I am just waiting for the new phone to come and the camera. Then, after that, I’ll be ready for my holiday. Im going back home for a month. I’ve got my gadgets ready to take pictures and record everything for the whole time I am away. Which brings something to my mind Oh no, who is going to keep this updated?! - Errmmmm…. No one?! Yep, you heard it. No one is going to keep the blog updated, as if someone would actually want to in the first place. And if you then you have to send your CV first. Here at myrant.tk, we pick the most skilled people, who have years of experience in using AOL and having grammar such as howz u? wot hve u been up 2?, and to be honest I think that is actually incorrect anyway because those words can be simplified even more to become a lot shorter. And now I feel another rant coming up… I’ll leave it for tonight, some more next time.
