I have finally upgraded my out-of-date version of WordPress. It is such a pain in the ass to update a blog script such as this because apart from it being large (over 1,500 files) but also very customized. Each time I upgrade the script I have to edit 20 or so files with custom bits of code I have so that it does what I want it to do. A bit annoying but when you are a few versions behind you have no choice.

Plus it is pretty exciting when you just installed a new version to see what new features it has. This time around I’ve noticed the tagging system. As you probably already seen there are a few tags as I have been tagging pasts posts, but as there are nearly 160 posts I got bored half way through and I will be tagging posts that I will be making from today onwards.

I have noticed that a very grammatically retarded person or persons have been posting some rather amusing comments. The reason why they are amusingis because they are full of words which don’t make sense and/or they are in the dictionary. Maybe they are in the RETARDED DICTIONARY, but not in any that I know of.

Words such as “da, dis, cuz”, and many more are used in the [sarcasm] rather very insulting [/sarcasm] comments. Maybe I have missed something or maybe I wasn’t paying too much attention at school or skived the lesson which they taught you how to use these words.

Yes I know they are abbreviations of the actual words - da = the, dis = this, cuz = because, etc. - but the point is that these abbreviations should only be used in only extreme cases such as when you are writinga text message and you only have just enough money to send one text message. Only then and then only you have to resort of going through your text message and shrinking down the words so that you can fit all of it in one 145 character text message.

Also another reason why the comments are amusing, is because they don’t actually get submitted, they go to the “Moderation Department” - meaningany comments which contain certain keywords are automatically sent in for moderation. My site - my rules - don’t like it - go somewhere else.

There was some downtime over the weekend. As much as I would of liked it to have been an April’s Fool thing, it wasn’t. Is not important on the reasons why there was the downtime, but everything is up and running as normal.

Now you can even get nokitel.co.uk on your phone as wallpaper! At the moment I only did it the wallpaper to be used on my Nokia 6230. But it can be used on other Nokia 6230s as well. I am not sure about other phones as they all have different screen sizes.

The Nokia 6230 has the screensize of 128×128. So if your phone is that size, then it should be OK!

In a bizarre twist today at college the discussion of my website came up that it offended some people. Now, time for some quick lessons in blogging and all that with Prof. Google:

Now I don’t understand what people have in their heads these days. Since when do I have to watch out what I write on MY website? If what I write here offends people or the images that I produce then they should contact me and bitch about it to me. But as far as I am aware that is all sorted, so kind of old news were being brought up today. People need to move on.

My logic is simple in cases like these were I bitch about something or someone (without actually mentioning who I am bitching about) is that if the reader is offended of what he/she just read, then simply click the X in the top right corner of your browser and never come here again.

You don’t like it don’t read it/view it/hear it. Same scenario applies to cars, movies, porn, you name it - you don’t like it, you switch it off, you drive a different car, you don’t listen to people etc etc.

The funny thing I found in the whole discussion was that my writings are “dictating” – as in I offend people and that it isn’t moderated and all that crap. – But hold on a minute, the definition of a blog is “an online journal”, so the only difference between you writing in your book that person XYZ is a cock and me saying that some person I know is a cock WITHOUT MENTIONING NO NAMES is that my bitching is online were millions of people could access it and view it and yours is hidden under your bed.

As the definitions on Google were saying – a blog is somewhere were the author can express its opinions, thoughts and other things. So I just can’t get over the fact that I should watch out what shit I write. Thought this was a free country I was living in?

And for this rant only I am curious to hear your thoughts on this!

After being away for some time on holiday. I have decided to post an update or so… I am still around, I just couldn’t be bothered to write anything. There isn’t anything to write about. I’ve written about whatever there was that it was pissing me off.

I guess I will just have to think of some things that piss me off to write about them. Or not. I really have to change a few things around here, like make a website for starters.

I haven’t had time lately to post anything new around here. The reason for this is that I am with a girl at the moment and I bitch and rant to her about the things that piss me off. So there isn’t anything I can post on here.

It is such a shame… I’m sure that whoever reads this shit (if actually someone does) then you might be disappointed. :haha: Apart from that there is nothing new… Actually lately I just cannot be bothered to write any of my shitty rants…
